Love this specialization, interested in further research and to explore each and every aspects in this area faculties in structural engineering department is tremendously good, exams were timely held under strict provisions and if u study well u ll definitely score good Not an issue whatsoever

No i haven't opted for any internship i am a research scholar in the department of structural engineering over here. Area of interest is Earthquake Engineering , I get a stipend of 31k as jrf and 35k as srf, i am working under a project of csir which is the funding agency of my research project

Placement is very fine i already mentioned this portion in one of my answers. Everything is very well equipped and btechs get approximately ranging from 25lakh to even 50-60 lakhs package, its pretty expected since u r studying in one of the best IITs, so yes things are well placed and furnished

Jrf -31k ,Srf - 35k for mtech its 12.4k, job opportunity is great, under my guide after completion of their phd everyone has entered into teaching profession in reputed institution with handsome salary.

Its fun, i have heard the fact that IIT GUWAHATI is the best campus in India before joining here, and now when i am here, i can tell you it has already surpassed my expectations, most beautiful campus engulfed with freshness, library facilities, sports, cultural every other things are damn good. It's a paradise u can play national level if you are good at sports and many other opportunities are there alongside.

Yes i have opted for hostel my hostel name is Manas, food is good but since i belong to kolkata, its normal for me, breakfast and dinner is fine, lunch is not upto the mark, other people like it but since i am coming from a place where regarding food everyone goes gaga, i found it normal over here, neither excellent nor that bad too.
