The One Stop Review for the lush green NIT Kurukshetra.

I chose this college for my mtech because of my stream which I pursued. Also, the aura of this college is nice. There is greenery and 13 hostels for boys and 3 for girls. So, no difficulty in spending your destined time in this college. There are all facilities available in the college. One stop point for everything you need in academics and while living in the hostel.

Course curriculum changes every two year based on the review and feedback of NPA. Faculty are cooperative and well proficient in their domain. The focus should be on quality but somewhere it is compromised. But focus is on imparting education an placement. Few endeavours are seen for research but not that much.

There is a lot of campus and internship opportunities both for UG and PG. Stream related to IT, CS and electronics are quite more blessed. Equal opportunity is given to all students. Every branch of each UG and PG stream has a placement member that works in dealing with the placement process with the companies and the college.

I am general category student. As far I know, there are some scholarship opportunities for UG and PG students. The placement is pretty good. Many students get intern in their prefinal year or final year. The CTC is good and high for few branches of CS, IT, electrical and mechanical. Fee is high but less when compared to other NITs of India.

The campus life is very interactive. There are many clubs and societies like photography club, art and cultural club, literature club, children society, educational societies helping poor children around campus in studies, some technical groups and engineering societies. So, overall you will always get mesmerised with the events happening in the campus time to time. There is a vast stadium with facilities like football court, cricket court, badminton court, basketball court, 4 volleyball court, kabbadi court, kho kho court, gym, lawn tennis court, running court. Apart from that every hostel has TT court, open badminton court, volleyball court respectively. There are 13 hostels for boys and 3 for girls. There is Amul Canteen and other two canteens, a shopping complex having shops of confectionery, clothes wash, fast food and beverage, stationary and general retail shop and a medicose. There is SBI branch, Post office and a sparx footwear shop. The hostels and cleaned regularly and there is lust green environment round the campus. You will feel like heaven if you love greenery. There is proper cutting of trees and grasses of campus and stadium. There is hospital too with ambulance facility for NIT employees and students. One guesthouse. The swimming pool is the attraction for all the students who swim.

There are 13 hostels for boys and 3 for girls. Sanitation: All hostels are provided with sufficient sanitary staff who clean the toilet and the hostel campus everyday without a gap. Facilities: There common room having LED TV with premium setup box connection of TATA Sky or Airtel or any other based on the students view point. The common room is equipped with Carrom board set up, TT table. Other accessories available are badminton, TT, Volleyball, Foot ball etc. All the expenditures are availed by the management but some of the expenditures are took by all the students of the hostel. Food: The menu is decided by the students and a mess committee formed by every hostel to decide the menu and check the quality and rates of the item cooked in the hostel. Similarly committee also reviews and check the sanitary and other miscellaneous stuff of the hostel. Infrastructure: There are well ventilated and sanitised bathrooms and latrines. The room is given a balcony to give a greenish view from the back. There is almirah provided and proper ventilated rooms. The charge of room is taken once a year and the electricity charge is taken based on the consumption of the hostel.
