Remarks

After a lot of analysis on the basis of college selection, I filled up colleges like CIET, VSSUT, IGIT and GCE. But at last, I selected in IGIT, SARANG. The admission process totally conducted by counselling of OJEE.

Course Curriculum Overview

I preferred Mechanical Engineering because I had lots of excitement about the machine how it works etc. The college faculties of my college really very sincere and good at teaching. Some of our faculties members passed from IIT like reputed Institute.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 39000 per year

Placement Experience

The campus comes to college nearly in the 3rd year. The companies like Tata, Bhusan, Infosys and a lot more etc come to this college. The salary package starting like from 1 lakh to 6 lakh. A lot of students selected for the campus every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a lot of scholarship but I hadn't anything because of the criteria which are given in the scholarship form, I wasn't able to clear all the criteria. The scholarship like Prerana, state scholarship and some private companies like ONGC etc.

Campus Life

There are lots of groups to giving chances for the student to participate and showing his/her extracurricular activities. There was a lot of clubs also like SOLE etc. For gaming, the college has both indoor and outdoor game facilities for the student.

Hostel Facilities

There is a lot of students read in this college but comparison to hostel seat is less. So for to select the hostel seat, it is fully based on the JEE Main cut off mark. The surrounding of hostel is so nice and peaceful. Yes, there have some rented facilities also near the college.

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

NOT AN IDEAL COLLEGE BUT DEFINITELY DESCENT

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
