PUBDET for undergraduation and PUMDET for postgraduation both are conducted by WBJEE. Cutoff depends on the performance and the ratio of students. I chose Presidency University amongst all of the colleges due to its prestige alumni and reputaution . I chose to go to Presidency Due to to its heritage and strong economics department and also due to its affordability. There is a competitive peer group and the location is a plus point. The eligibility reuires minimum of 60% in 10+2 for General category and 55% for SC/OBC/ST/PWD Maths has to be a mandatory subject ( for B,Sc Economics) THey accept admission through PUBDET though mine was direct admission due to COVID 19.
