Entrance Preview

The entrance exam is IPU-CET. I had qualified the exam & has 22307 rank. I had opted for 3 different colleges,one of which was HMRITM.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is the blend of Theory & practical both. The regular assessment is done through Projects given on the specific topics. This gives in depth research of the topic. There are two sessional exams conducted in college & one semester exams conducted at centres at the end of each semester.

Internships Opportunities

Internship offered by college is fees oriented and hence, it is better to look for it by yourself. No stipend is offered by the company through which the college provides internships. Companies for internship are HCL & Aedifico Pvt. Ltd.

Placement Experience

The Placements were good in my college but it required to be improved more for upcoming batches. The batches before 2016 completion has poor placements which is less than 40%. The highest package offered was by Adobe - 5.5 Lacs & Lowest was by Genpact - 2.0 lacs Average Salary package was about 2.8 Lacs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fees is about Rs.88,000 & Bus fees is Rs.25000. The fees is moderate as compared to overpriced engineering college. The college is at the end side of G.T.K Road,which has poor connectivity of public transports.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is No scholarships but there is need based scholarship .Management does not support the students in term of loan or scholarships.

Campus Life

Campus life is fun & gender ratio is about 1:5 girls to boys ratio. Diversity is also key factor of HMRITM. Sports quality is not good but Extracurricular are very good.

Exam Structure

There are two sessional exams conducted in college & one semester exams conducted at centres at the end of each semester. There is one final practical exam conducted by external teachers in the college premises. There are 5 lectures & 2 labs daily. There are two small breaks & one big luch break in the schedule.

Admission

After qualifying the exam,the notification was released of the counselling to start after 1 month. The first counselling start for top 12000 ranks & then 15 days later second counselling started. I was having my counselling on 2nd last day. I went & just had to give them documents & Demand Draft of Rs.55000. I was selected & was informed to report to college immediately.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

I have applied for JEE entrance examination and I have scored 65 percentile in JEE examination and then I applied in GGSIPU for addmission then according to my percentile during 4 rounds of councelling I got HMRITM college and then I went to college and do all the process to join the college and the fees of first year was 135700 in which 10000 is the security amount which will be returned after completion of graduation and next three years fees will pe 125700 respectively...Read More
