Remarks

Our college grants admission in two ways: either by KEAM or by Management quota(NRI). I was granted admission through KEAM. This college admits the last rank of 29511 in the State Merit quota and 38017 in the OBC quota for computer science engineering. Getting admitted here is a hassle-free task as the college officials were really helpful in the admission process. Even on the counseling day, my parents found it really easy to complete the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is provided by KTU. I chose this course because I am really interested in programming. The faculty is very helpful in learning concepts. Here there is 1:10 faculty: student ratio. All the teachers are highly qualified with master's and doctorate degrees. In each semester, there will be two series exams and a semester exam, i.e. the college helps the students very much in learning

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provides us with many internship opportunities. They can be both works from home and on-site internships. Many of the work-from-home internships are provided by websites like Internshala, Flipkart, etc. On-site internships are done usually during semester breaks. These internships also give students stipends as well as a certificate which helps them in getting placed during placements. Also, the students get exposure to the real-life corporate world.

Placement Experience

5

The students get eligible for the campus placement in their third year. More than 50 well-known companies like Infosys, HCL, TCS, WIPRO, IBM, etc participate in placements. Almost 75% of the students get placed each year. The highest salary package offered was 1.5lakhs per annum by an IT company. My plan is also to get placed in campus placements and work for a few years, then go for diploma and certificate courses abroad and get employed there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is different for different students as students pay a different fee based on their admission quota. I was admitted to the OBC quota and I pay 35000 as the tuition fee per year. It is really economical compared to other private colleges. My college is a government-controlled college. It is under the CCEK scheme of government. The scholarships are provided by the government. But, one can get financial assistance if reported with genuine reason to the college office. As of now, the college does not provide jobs with stipends. Instead, they give opportunities to work as an intern in other companies.

Campus Life

5

The college has well-organized sports, arts, placement committees in the college. The college also provides opportunities to participate in functions, festivals, and workshops organized by other colleges. Also, the students have the freedom to run social clubs, groups, and even political party groups as well. The college organizes student cabinet elections once a year.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel provides a quality meal. The first years have a separate hostel that is nearer to the college. The mess is provided in the college canteen itself. For the rest of the students, they have a separate hostel which is relatively far from the college. There, the hostel itself has some chefs, and the students form a hostel committee and this committee is responsible for purchasing goods and groceries. So, it makes the mess fee relatively less than that for the first years. The registration process for a hostel is really easy. The wardens are really helpful and generous towards students. The hostel is more affordable than renting a room as the hostel and mess fee are at a subsidized rate provided by the government.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.
