Experience in MAIT for MBA

I did my BBA from MAIMS so wanted to do my post-graduation from a good college to continue my growth in my career. I chose MAIT and researched its admission process. Eligibility is 50% or more in graduation and around 70 percentile in CAT. But I had an OBC quota so I got it on 67 percentile. I chose MAIT over other colleges because its faculty is actually so good and their teaching approach is nice.

According to my, Faculty at MAIT is very good, my professors were so helpful that I discussed every doubt in my college life without hesitation. They all were well qualified like most of them were Ph.D. scholars. Their teaching style made concepts so easy to understand. And student to faculty ratio was also good.

The placement cell keeps updating you about various internships and shares links to apply to them. Paid or unpaid both but there will be many internships to choose from. And most people get internships easily as it has a good reputation. I personally got an internship in the Delhi government for an 8 thousand stipends.

There is a placement cell that provides assistance by telling about vacancies in various companies. Also, some companies like Genpact, Share Khan, and IHS MARKIT come for campus placement but with okayish packages.

If I go by fee structure MAIT is very good as you are not spending so much but getting good faculty. There are no such scholarships provided or promoted by college but sometimes they reward toppers. No financial support is provided but professors will tell you about some scholarships by govt if you ask them personally.

Campus Life at MAIT is average. It has a big library and facility of book bank also, so you don't have to buy books. Sometimes you can feel campus is not so big but they make the best use of it, like Fests and Competitions, Entrepreneurship Summit, etc. But the sad part is they don't allow for night programs.

After considering CAT scores and graduation merit, some weightage is also given to GD and PI. In group discussions mostly topics are around the business world or any current scenarios. And Personal interviews were very professional but also very interactive like they don't just ask questions but discuss with you.
