Remarks

Lingayas Lalita Devi Institute of Management and Sciences is the college where education is worth taking. The institute is approved by UGC and accredited with grade A by the NAAC. As I'm a BAJMC student so I'll majorly talk about the same. The institute is known for its affordable fee structure (77000 per year) and best class facilities. Lingayas delivers fine practical knowledge with industrial exposures. The college accepts an entrance qualification CET, which is conducted by IPU, 50% marks in any field and an age limit between 17-21 (if UG). Students can also enrol themselves directly into the college but they won't get IPU's degree, they will only get a Lingayas authorised degree. When I qualify for IPU entrance, in the first cut off list, I directly got complete guidance from the counsellors. The counsellors were so to-the-point and clear when they guide you and help in the entire admission process. I got relaxation in fees as per my 12th percentage so that's a kind of quota you avail.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I want to see myself as a professional journalist so I opted for this course. Another reason for pursuing this course from Lingayas is because of their punctual, cooperative and hard-working faculty. Almost all faculty have done PhD and related courses. They are highly qualified and hence their teaching methods are unique. Student: faculty ratio is also apt. A year has two semesters and two exams are conducted respectively. The college provides you the semester wise books and notes. Hence you can effortlessly study them on your own and easily qualify for the exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college allows students for internships after 1st year and suggest them good media and printing houses. Also, various companies show interest in our college and this is all happens under the Summer Internship report by IPU. Various companies hire interns in content writing, editing, photography, anchoring, reporting, etc. on various platforms. The stipend is different for a different designation like for content writing, the highest stipend is 8,000-10000 per month, for graphic designing 10000-12000 per month, etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college has a Placement Cell and its HOD puts its best effort into providing placement opportunities to every student. If I talk about internships then the college allows the student after the first year under Summer Training Report. There are various media and cooperate companies that come and hire the most eligible students. The highest salary package is 3.6 lakh INR. Almost 80% of students got placed every year. There are also some seniors who established their own production house and channels after completion of the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

If I talk about the BAJMC department fee structure then it is 77000 per year and you can pay the fees semester wise i.e, 38500/sem. In terms of fee relaxation, the college is so cooperative. You can also pay fees in instalments as per your financial condition. I consider Lingayas best for BAJMC because this is the most affordable college in Delhi-NCR as it provides the best class facilities in such flexible criteria. If you scored high each year then the college provides you with a Scholarship and a medal/ trophy. The college gives you financial assistance also if you want to and facilities you with good placement assistance. Recently our many seniors got placed in reputed cooperate companies, radio channels, news channels, etc.

Campus Life

5

If I talk about campus life then Lingayas is the best place to find your inner self. The college has friendly students, faculty members and authority members who make the campus super cool. Playgrounds, libraries, theatre, studios, etc are the soul of the college which make college more perceiving. The college has different clubs and societies where students can groom themselves. The college celebrates two fests 'Zeal' and 'Anugoonj' which brings a lot of learning and enjoyment. Time-to-time programmes are also conducted other than annual fests. If I talk about the library then it is the best place throughout the college where you can find every possible book and journal. In terms of sports, college allows the students to showcase their spirit in intra and inter-college, national or international levels in different sports like cricket volleyball, football, basketball, kho-kho, kabaddi, etc. The college has an editing lab, radio lab, studios, printing labs, etc.

The placement cell of our college is functional and active. The chances depend on the course that you have opted for. The placements are really good for commerce, economics, Maths, Stats but for the other department's students it might be a bit challenging to find a company of their domain. The students become eligible to sit in placement from 5th semester. The companies that visit my college are Godrej, BCG, McKinsey, Nation with Namo, Blackstone, Accenture, KPMG, EY, citibank, microsoft and Amazon etc.

The placement is fine in college. It is not a bulk campus placement like in most of the engineering colleges but it is pretty decent. The one who is smart and confident enough gets it. Companies provide a decent pakage to the ones who get placed.
