My college experience

I was admitted to the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology by giving JEE Mains in 2018. I applied to this college because the placements of this college are very good. Around 75-80% of the eligible candidates got placed in well-known companies. The top recruit companies are Capgemini, Cognizant, Amazon, Wipro, Parle, Nestle, Amul etc. Our college also provides paid and nonpaid internships for job experience. To seek admission under Management Quota, the student should have obtained a rank. For direct admission, you must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks. For SC/ST category students will get 5% relaxation on total percentage. You can apply for this college by giving JEE Mains and WBJEE exams also. Application form fees are only 500/. Candidates, ages must be in between 17-23 years. This institution offers UG and PG courses under MAKAUT and some courses are NBA accredited. This institution is approved by AICTE and accredited by UGC. In this institution, the admissions are done based on merits. Now, this process is online.

I choose B.Tech in Electrical Engineering course in GNIT because of the good placements of this course. In this institution faculties are so helpful for all students. We learn new things every day from them and they clear our all doubts because they are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They also give us many E-books for learning more. More over GNIT provides us a great platform for holistic development of every student.They also provide some helpful tips regarding Spoken English.They provide technical and aptitude sessions according to the demand.There was 8 semester exams and 16 unit tests in whole B.Tech course. Each semester have 2 unit tests and there was some easy questions which will help to pass in your semester exams. That is so easy to pass in semester exams, contain 70 marks. That is so easy to get 90% marks in semester exams if any student reads well through the whole year.

There were some paid internships which are offered by 1 Website Management Internship by M&W Fashion Private limited 2 Business Development (Sales) Internship by Regale Catering App 3 Administration Internship by Matrix International 4 IIT Bomay Techfest 5 IIM Bangalore Eximius etc. In those companies you have to do different tasks as they want like Digital Marketing, Campus Ambassador, HR Associates, Sales and Marketing etc. After completion of internship they will pay 8000- 10000 Rs.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The recruit companies are Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, Amazon, Nestle, Amul etc and they each offers at least 10 students. The highest package is offered is about 8 to 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA and the minimum salary package offered is 3 to 5 LPA. About 70 to 80% students get placed. Internships are offered for every student. I want to do a job after completion of my BTech degree.

The total tution fees of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology for the BTech course is 4.08 Lakh. Rs 45000/- is the course fees per semester at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology. So course fees per year are 90000/- around. Besides this, you have to pay 1200/- for exam fees before semester exams. I don't know about the scholarships available or not. I don't know about the salary of the jobs. The percentage of students getting jobs is good enough. The top recruiting companies are Cognizant Capgemini, Wipro, Amazon etc.

The name of the annual fest is ZYZZVAA and the name of the Techfest of our institution is TESSERACT. The annual fest is organised at mid of February month and Techfest is organised at mid of March month.GNIT is quite appreciable that includes a library various labs, smart classrooms, playgrounds, gym, basketball court, badminton, court tennis room etc. In the library, there were almost 60000-70000 books journals and magazines and there were E-book facilities also. There are labs with the latest equipment smart classrooms free wifi services etc. Integrated security solutions and 50+ CCTV are also installed on the whole campus. There are some social groups of GNIT. Those are FELICIFIC 2.0, GNIT Mahakash, The Space Club ZYZZVAA and TESSERACT etc.
