Remarks

I was admitted to GSSSIETW through my KCET ranking. Since I was passionate about computer science I opted for it. I also opted college hostel for convenience. I got the seat in GSSS in my first round hence, therefore, got admitted to the college. In the admission process, you have to submit all the original documents to them which will be returned after you pursue your graduation. The college also has an admission facility through COMED-K, Management quota as well. GSSSIETW is one of the good colleges in Mysuru. It is also a good hostel facility as well.

I selected the computer science branch since I was passionate about it. The college faculty is also friendly to the students. They are always available and friendly to the students. They create a student -teacher friendly environment.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided in the college and students can also have their internships in many companies of their interest. Some companies like Dell offer internships for the students where students are given a project for which assistance would be given and also with the stipend.

Placement Experience

There is a good training and placement department that helps students to crack the placements easily. They are lots of reputed companies coming to our college namely Dell, Juniper networks and many more. The highest package bagged in the year was to 19 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers scholarships to talented students. Students can also apply to other government scholarships like Vidyasiri and many more. For government seats, 59000 for government fee and around 17000 is the college fee. Fees are around 76000 per year.

Campus Life

The college is anti ragging. Classrooms are fully equipped with a led projector and a good infrastructure. College also has a good library facility. There are also many clubs created in the college which helps the students to improvise and showcase their creativity.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good to stay in. It is comparatively better than other hostels or pg when compared to food, cleanliness etc. Hostel faculties are also supportive. They are providing good quality food to the students and thus creating students friendly environment.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
