Remarks

I m FE from PICT CSE Department Admissions are done through CAP Rounds I got 99.43% in MHT-CET though I got admission through the OBC Ladies quota. The college is providing various courses for personal as well as co-operative development through various clubs of PICT. Seniors are very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

PICT is basically a Computer Technology aided college and stands on top for their placements. Faculties are nice and enough for the strength of students present here Faculties are well qualified all are Mastered in their particular field and are very cooperative n helpful. Term exams very almost in the intervals of 1-2 months. As being mcq pattern it was a bit easy as we are already having a practice solving MCQs during CET preparations.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 57000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internshala provides various internship opportunities. And we are making Small but innovative projects under PBL ( Project Based Learning) subject This subject is entirely designed by the college for PICTians.

Placement Experience

Some students are ready from the first sem itself but according to me 3-4 the sem There are various companies that visit our campus. The recent highest package is 44.4 lakh/annum by Microsoft Almost 98-99.99% of students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Basically, I got admission through OBC So I was having approx 60,000 college fees N I applied for the Maharashtra Government OBC scholarship as well. Due to this I just need to pay 50% of the total fees.

Campus Life

There are various annual and tech fests of various international clubs of PICT like Pulzion, Credenz, Xenia organized by PASC, IEEE, PCSB resp All required books are available in the library Journals are provided by the college itself.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Placement Experience:

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
