Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to pursue a career in the judiciary. It a dream comes true when I got admission here. Now I can see myself becoming a part of India's judiciary. The faculty-student ratio is 1:50. The professors are really helpful and are highly knowledgeable. They have an abundance of knowledge that they keep showering on their students. Being a law student fieldwork is very important and amity provides its students practical knowledge other than just theoretical. Exams are taken regularly twice a year. It's not so difficult to get passing marks if you are a good student and you are working hard, you surely will achieve 9 CGPA.
Internships Opportunities
Honestly speaking I haven't tried for any internship yet but there are many lawyers who provide internship opportunities. Sometimes research work on certain cases has to be done and mostly it's of 2-3 months only. If you want to have a strong CV for placement. I'll recommend going for internships.
Placement Experience
In the last semester, a student becomes eligible for campus placements. A number of companies visit every year. As I am in my 2nd year I am not so highly knowledgeable about the placement. But some companies that always offer good packages are Hindustan, coco-cola, Sagar Chandran associates, and many more. Many foreign companies also visit and recruit.
Fees and Financial Aid
Amity provides 100% scholarship to those students who achieve 1st, 2nd, 3rd in yearly exams. While the 1st year students who scored 95%+ receive 100% scholarship in their first year. The fee is really high but as you are pursuing a career in law you'll have to be prepared to bear the cost.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is really amazing, you can make life-lasting friends, you can make memories, you can see actors and actresses coming to the campus promoting their movies. So overall it's fun. Talking about the annual fest (Amity youth fest) it Lasts for three days. You'll get a chance to witness singers like darshan Rawal, Jubin Nautiyal, and many more. The last day is a DJ night where you can dance freely without having tension about anything. Amity's library is the most beautiful building. The interior design is just amazing you can't move away without saying 'wow'. The library is highly maintained and covers all types of books from fiction to non-fiction. There are many social groups and clubs including students' welfare groups, drama society, dance society, and many more.
