Remarks

College is very good matching with international standards, students growth in every aspect is concentrated good college with a rating of 9/10.

CET examination, i got ranking around 13k its a very reputed and a top college in karnataka that's why i opted this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very good no issues with that ,the teaching is also very good, Course structure is very modern, research related,it is upto a good standard, application level syllabus is included, which helps in future studies for the students, labs are sophisticated with modern equipment, which are very helpful in field.

Internships Opportunities

Yea it does, infosys, wipro, accenture, TCS and many other companies have come, for internship we can expect around 3k or 4k depending upon the company but placements are very good.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good, around 80% students are placed every year, the average of 60% is mandatory for placement's many companies like Accenture, tcs, Infosys, Bosch, IBM, wipro visit the college and conduct mass recruitment drives the packages are around 3-8 lakhs per annum.

College Events

There are bundle of events conducted in college which includes furor the college cultural fest, conducted for 3 days celebrated as a festival by students and faculties, many inter branch and intra branch fest are conducted like vibrations, samskruthi etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not too high but a little bit heavy for middle class and low class people but it's manageable for COMED-K students it is around 180000 and for CET students it's around 65000 including everything it would be better if education loan is taken.

Many scholarship are available for talented and backward and minority students, which can be applied through the college itself.

Campus Life

Very nice and happy and enjoyable college atmosphere is available, gender ratio is almost equal except in civil and mechanical branches, many workshops will be conducted from each department every semesters for welfare and development of technical skills of students very diverse students are seen in college without any discrimination.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are awesome with separate hostel for Indian, NRI, and girls with all the facilities and security if college hostels are filled many pgs are available near the college with an average cost around 6k per month living expenses are not too much.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good and also helpful but the thing is you should contact and check out with it, seniors are also very cooperative end good in helping the juniors.

Exam Structure

Exams are all very well planned and will have very good interval which will neither leave us to chi out or make us feel hectic there will be 3 internals with a gap of a month each, and lab internals will be conducted at the end of semester before main exams starts.

Admission

The admission process at DSCE is conducted through common tests that are conducted by state agencies and national agencies like CET and COMMED-K. It commences in the month of March every year and concludes on 31st July of the same year. The lateral entry (Diploma Quota) through CET is for 3rd semester and commences in the month of July/August Admissions are made as per the university policies given below: B.E Programs: For UG, The admission to college is through the entrance test, Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Government & Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka COMEDK. The students with meritorious ranking are considered for admissions. A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as specialization a pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/ Computer science/ Electronic.

Faculties are very good and cooperative and very helpful in clearing any doubts about curriculum and they are very dedicated too they have very good concern about students they are also very experienced talented the way of teaching and the English speaking is an advantage for students.

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
