Remarks

Even after being selected in Delhi University, I chose to study in this university because of its prominent academic background. To apply for the course I was supposed to have scored 50% in my graduation. They ask for the marks of CAT/ MAT/ REVA CET. I registered myself for the REVA CET exam online. The application fee I paid way Rs.1000 as I was an Indian resident.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The cource curriculum is well set. The management education provided us with a holistic understanding of the business environment. The faculty: student ration is 600: 15,000. The faculty is highly qualified and experienced. Because of the detailed explanation of the course by our faculty i never found my exams hard.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I did a summer internship for 2 months, in the Mobily Infotech India Pvt. Ltd. I worked there as a HR Intern. My job was of preperation of onboarding checklist and employee file audit and JD preperation. I earned a total amount of 10,000 from that internship.

Placement Experience

5

The students get eligible to sit for the placement in their last year. Companies visiting the university for campus placement are Infosys, Kota Bank, HP, etc. Number of offers made are 1330. The average salary package offered is Rs. 5,00,000 and the highest is Rs. 14,00,000. I got placed in Infosys last year for the post of Senior Associate Consultant.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My total fee was Rs.7,10,000 out of which Rs.6,00,000 was my tution fee. We were provided scholarships by the university like Sports scholarship, NCC scholarship, Siblings scholarship, etc. REVA also provides several campus jobs to its students.

Campus Life

4.5

REVA provides a diverse campus and a positive learning environment. The liberary is located in the heart of the campus. The air conditioned library has 800 seating capacity. It is full of book and journals. Events like Kala Darshan, REVAMP, etc are organized by the university every yera. There are clubs like Literary club, Science club, Robotics club, etc that are organised by students. NCC, NSS, etc are included in some of the extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities provided by REVA is up to the mark. We had the option of living in a hostel room individually or share a room with 3 or 4 students. There is a seperate mess for girls and boys and the food provided is nice. For registration we had to send a demand draft in favour of REVA Hostel, payable at Bangalore.

Admission

To get selected in the MBA program I had to give the REVA University Management Aptitude Test (REVA CET) or MAT/CAT or any equivalent exam conducted by some recognised institution. The REVA CET exam is of 120 marks out of which I scored 101.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
