Remarks

I had a few of my friends pursuing MBA from this university. The university has a beautiful campus as well as various students from different subject background. This diversity can help me to enhance knowledge apart from my MBA studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

Till now we didn't have any industrial exposure as because of this pandemic situation. Our classes are mainly held on virtually. Our curriculum for 1st year is very simple. They are teaching us everything thing related to businesses and corporate but from 2nd year we have choose our specialisations like marketing, finance,Human resource.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are quite average as the placements are held in masses. During placements, for interview all the department(B.Tech,BCA,BBA) appear for that job position.

College Events

There are many programs are held in our university like teachers day program, Independence day program, fest etc. We also had our orientation program virtually. As because of this current pandemic situation the other programs have been halted.

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

IIM Calcutta has fantastic placement records. This year also it got 100% placement. There are offers for various roles in marketing, finance, consulting, operations, product management, and general management, and it involves the participation of world-renowned organisations. A total of 170 organisations visited the campus, providing a total of 520 job openings. IIM has a 100% placement rate, with the majority of the organisations coming from the consulting, financial services, marketing, and information technology industries. The highest domestic CTC was 60 lakhs, with an average package of roughly 28.5 lakhs.

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

Only good remarks I can give for my college, but one bad thing is that it's very far away from my place as I stay in Howrah it took around 2 to 2½ hrs journey for college.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.
