Remarks

Good placement and internship history.locate in my own state and get full educational loan from Sbi Alipore.Excellent education culture,good infrastructure also the factors to choose this college.No ragging in college.Hostel facility is also excellent.There are several clubs and committes where students can join and develop their skill before entering in company.

Course Curriculum Overview

In 1st year we provide all subject knowledge finance, marketing, IT, Operation, OB, HR, and also provide practical knowledge.We provide live projects that helps student a lot.there are lot of events student organize and participate also.

Jsw,Morgan stanley came for summer internship opportunity, also biltzjob provide live projects.College help a lot to get sip projects after that placements.If students have excellent Sip experience then he/she can get job easily

College Events

There are so much events organized by clubs.and for this pandemic time all the events were organized in online platform and that was really fun. Converse 2020 also organized in zoom platform. There are lot of guest lecture happened to know about outside world- the company environment,their needs,how to skilled myself.

Campus Life

In college we have a network more than 400 computers and 24 hrs internet connectivity available with 150Mbps.We have also online library. In college there are separate conference hall,specious lecture halls, auditorium.There are separate gym room, basketball court, indoor game rooms.

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

Eligibility of the course PGDM is you have to be graduated with any stream because MBA colleges don't limit anyone on the basis of stream, you should appear in the entrance exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT, and NMAT. You can find the application form on the college website, application fees and application dates everything will be displayed on the website itself. yes, there are some reservations for EWS students you can directly get the 100% scholarship if you have the EWS certificate with you when the college asks you to give then you have to provide certain documents and then they proceed accordingly.
