I always wanted to pursue a professional degree course which can give me good campuss and secure my placement after I complete my degree.I did some research and found that hospitality industry has a lot of job opportunities to offer. Hence I chose this industry. And no education loan were taken
Course Curriculum Overview
My degree was more of skills and less of bookish knowledge. You grow in the industry if you have skills and confidence to carry yourself. We were provided good industrial exposure which made our views clear about the industry. Faculties are quite helpful in the college.
Internships Opportunities
I had interned with JW Marriott Kolkata and my stipend was 2500 back in 2017
Placement Experience
Good hotels for eg: Oberoi, park, leela, taj etc and retails come for campuss interviews. And also u get to give walk in interviews.
College Events
Our college never really had too much of extra curriculum activities as such. but yes, there were events and all that in which we could participate and it was pretty nice. We used to have inter college competitions.
Campus Life
Our campus was the best thing about our college. Full with greenery and scenic beauty. You don't get any extra ordinary facilities there but yes. One can live their life inside the campuss if they are staying in hostel.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is the best thing about Ihm Guwahati. You get triple sharing rooms in 1st and 2nd year and in 3rd year if u score good marks in 2nd year, you get to have a single room. Every room has a balcony attached with it. You get a bed, cupboard and a study table. One common toilet in each floor with 2 bathrooms.
