Remarks

I analyse about college previous year placement and how well they are growing in India and in international levels. Part from this I also see about college reputation. I also see about their faculty of the college. Co curricular activities carried out in college that will help in building student skills should be another reason for me to choose the college.

It's good is completed on time and their are doing extra curriculum activities with the classes which helps us to understand how to mamage time. Faculty of the college is very cooperative they are giving us their precious time to solve our queries.

I am 1 year student so their are not enough placement opportunities come aren't their right now but still many companies are about to come to offer sip to student but still their is lack of communication about it. But college and placement cell is doing g good about it.

College Events

Good they are taking care about this during this virtual classes. They are regular bilding events. Different societies during this time work very hard to carry out an event which is very tough to held in online but still they are doing their best. College also invites many leader to deliver speech to share their experience with us.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

Eligibility of the course PGDM is you have to be graduated with any stream because MBA colleges don't limit anyone on the basis of stream, you should appear in the entrance exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT, and NMAT. You can find the application form on the college website, application fees and application dates everything will be displayed on the website itself. yes, there are some reservations for EWS students you can directly get the 100% scholarship if you have the EWS certificate with you when the college asks you to give then you have to provide certain documents and then they proceed accordingly.
