Remarks

I applied OBC quota for admissions I thought I will get admission at some lesser marks but then I get admission in the general quota because I get that many marks in the entrance exam. So if we have some quota then I think it would be better to take that as an opportunity. There are no criteria like minimum age and marks. Only a 12th pass required and then if we talk about the admission that depends upon our 12th marks (25%) and entrance exam marks (75%). And also for various department and programme different marks required for admission that decided by cutoff and according to available seats. And one thing I want to share is that it does not matter that much that if we get less percentage in the 12th board exam then we get any college or not. Here if our concert is clear then easily we can get best marks in the entrance exam and beat others. Now, if we talk about the story of counselling day that day top 100 ranks student applied for each program are called for counts with all required documentation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have an interest in physics so I choose Integrated MSc Physics (5 years). Also, the reason I choose this course in this college is that I get some better review from this college and teachers. The faculty ratio is almost 1:8. All faculty are selected by government exams. But most of the faculty are from some IITS and some from IISC also some from any other colleges. But all selected by exams and interviews. If we talk about the teaching method, not all are good but some are very good at explanation and some are average also few also there that the explanation is not stable for the student. And also some are explained in a better way practical thing but not perfect in theoretical. We have a semester system and one semester is of 5 months, in one semester we have two internal and end sem exam. And for practicals, only viva and marks given in each practice is considered. Now if we talk about the difficulty to pass then that depends upon subject, faculty and syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

4

ESA (European Space Agency) Astronaut selection one of the major internships happen and they tell about how this work. And also offer many jobs and tell about we can apply for experiencing practically how these all work. Job-like management systems, a career as astrophysicists, astronaut career fair. IIIT Allahabad research internship on the computational and theoretical aspect of gravitational physics.

Placement Experience

4

In a course like I adopted we get eligible in 10 semesters for placement. In physics, placement is less rather than subjects like data science and statistics. Mostly physician gets an offer for the teacher like in Unacademy platform, Byjus assistant professor at several colleges. Now if we talk about the highest package. Package depend upon qualification of students like not only report is seen by them mostly and almost all take interview. I know about the average package offered is 7 lakh. As I earlier mention placement less for physics so almost 15% of student get placement and it also depends upon batch's student their interest in a placement. My plans after getting a degree to become a professor. I like to explain things.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is like not very high normal fees because it's a government college so government give fund. And we have to submit separate fees for different things like academic fees, hostel fees, mess fees, library fees, wifi fees, grounds fees and some other fees are there. Opportunity for the scholarship is not, especially for our college students. Nothing like that. But we can fight another scholarship exam like kvpy and many others are there. Then they can allow us to get that no boundary from their side. Also, they are for some subjects faculty take extra classes for preparation for some other outside exams. Like for net, jrf, jest. So this is helpful for many students also many teachers qualified these exams and scholarship so they usually give guidance to us that is the best part. There is no permanent job for students but sometimes for management of some function, they get some money. And they can start their coaching to teach only college students and get fees from that student.

Campus Life

3.5

The name is different for each year and decided by students and for all department separate fest is conducted. After going to college their no fest happen we are just planning to conduct that in April and last March our campus got closed. And no specific time, date month fix for that. Students decide according to their exams and time availability. I didn't remember and see all booms available in the library but the better collection of books is there also if we want some books that are not available then we can mention that books their if possible then that books will come with stock. The facility in the classroom is nice we get a comfortable chair for seating and table also. And fan and good light are available in every classroom. And in a few classroom and labs, an air conditioner is available. In sports, the ground is available for cricket, volleyball, baseball, basketball, football. And aao court available for badminton, tennis. The dance hall is there and a small movie theatre that is free.

Hostel Facilities

4

In the hostel room two seats, three-seaters and 4 seater room available. We get lights and fan from their side, if we want then we can get our own cooler, air conditioner and other electronic items but we have to pay the monthly rent of their as the light bill. We get wifi (10 GB for a month) for which we have to pay .and for food, the mess is inside every hostel so we get food from that, also one private canteen available every time so we get some food items from that. No need to go outside hostel (this is also must because our hostel gets closed at 10 pm, no one allowed after that without chief wardens permission.. And open at morning 5am) . In the four-seater room, we get an attached washroom. And common washroom for others. The caretaker and guard are available for 24hrs for any difficulty. Plumber electritician come everyday. The quality of the meal is fine. Not so good and not so bad. Sometime quality get worst In that case we can complain. Hostel available for all student of the college. And we get easily room in the hostel.

Interview Experience

4

We only spend 7 months on the college campus. Then due to this pendant campus and hostels are close still. We usually do some group discussion in class sometimes faculty also join us and also they give a topic to us. In the first lecture, they give the topic then in the next lecture we all discuss that. Mostly they are related to the syllabus and some new update on that. Also sometimes some other latest issue is also our part of the discussion. Topic related to the syllabus is like how you behave when you are supposed to our vice-chancellor then what will you do. And also how. The test pattern is subjective or objective for internal exams. And for the end semester exam only subjective pattern. And for practical exams, we should prepare lab record of all practicals that we attend and viva is there. The process for admission is like first we should 12th pass and then have to attend entrance exam. Some documenta need like migration certificate, character certificate, our mark sheet and anti-ragging certificate.

I chose this course because I was interested in economics. There is a 1:30 ratio of students to teachers. The teachers are highly qualified. The teaching methods are good. They use presentations and pdfs to teach us in class. The term exams are conducted on time. It is moderately difficult to pass the examinations. You have to study well to pass.

Remarks:

There's an evident lack of social life around the university as it is far away from the city which can't help fulfill normal joyous outings. The college has extremely good infrastructure but lacks seriousness among current students as well as faculties. There is unnecessary restrictions put on students, especially girl students which is biased and clear form of sexism.
