Remarks
I applied to Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya because few were reasonable and faculties were great. One of my knowns referred this college to me. The Admission criteria of Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya for the MBA program were a minimum of 50% marks in the graduation and any of the national level entrance exam's result holders are eligible for admission. As this is a pandemic time the most of the admission process including the counseling went online. We to fill an application form on counseling day for personal details and have to pay an amount of 1000 only for Counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very informative. Each important aspect is included. The college faculty is kind as well as strict. They provide every help under their reach to give their best to achieve. They maintain a healthy conversation in the class. Also, they motivate us to know better about the strengths and weaknesses of ourselves and the industries. On average, there is one teacher for every 40-50 students. Every teacher had done a Ph.D. and had a doctorate degree. In a pandemic, they take class on a smartboard that is completely digitally and they make it very proper and understandable to each and every student.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of my BBA course from 2017 to 2020 were 28000 per year later they hiked fees to 45000 to 47000 per year. The price to study ratio is absolutely great. because in comparison with colleges in our area Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya had a very affordable fee structure. I didn't get any scholarship but there were scholarship opportunity and hostel fee deduction for the student's who comes from Uttar Pradesh. For MBA students the one-year fee is around one lakh INR. (Including all tax or tuition fees). Plenty of scholarships are introduced by the university for suitable candidates. Faculty introduces students to scholarship Opportunities at the state and/or national levels.
Campus Life
The College campus is wide, neat, and beautiful. Normally the annual function takes place once in every batch, but due to the pandemic condition, it wasn't able to hold right now. There is a separate entity for sports and an extra curriculum on the campus. There is also the students union which works for students and is run by students as well. Every year in the month of August there is a seminar regarding Vedic management. This tells us how in olden times things were managed and what we can learn from that. There is a central library which is the biggest library that any college has in Haridwar, so there are plenty of books are available for reading and explorations. There were video projectors in every classroom which is used by the faculty and students to make the classes interactive.
