Remarks

Among 120 seats in each Branch, this university take its own entrance exam BVP-CET of 100 marks u need to get 50+ marks for admission in top branches CS, IT , ENTC and there is only 10 seats for management quota and for kashmir & foreigner quota .

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty here are quite punctual even in the online class but there is one thing I'm unsatisfied with is that there is lack of authority management regarding exams notice any event organized by the college so there is a little struggle rest everything is quite good!!

Fees and Financial Aid

This college is quite a value for money as compared to other private engineering college it has only 1.30 lakh fees per annum and even they provide scholarship for economically weak students. So it costs almost 5.10 lakhs for a 4-year btech degree.

Campus Life

It has one of the largest campuses in Maharashtra state and it is established in 1964 so hence it is been compared to many new IIT and NITs so there is no doubt in the campus and hostel life. There are many different clubs such as dance , acting , sports , bussiness development, literacy club ,singing and many more!!!

Truths about MIT-WPU

Placement Experience:

Students generally get eligible to placement from 6th semester. Some top Companies for cse placemnt which comes are Zs associates,Morgan stanley,tcs,wipro and barclays. Highest package was around 54lpa Average is around 7 lpa There is around 80%median placements.Some students opt for masters abroad. My plan is though to prepare for placement currently but lets see what happens maybe opting for masters could be a plan B.

Actually i have decided to only go for computer science but as my entrance exam score was not that much good. So i decided to go for ai&ds branch as it have much scope than cse. Ai&ds syllabus is very much similar to cse branch so not that much difference. Some practical practice need to be improved in place of learning theory.

The reason I chose this college were that i due to some personal issues and problems scored less marks in MHT-CET, JEE and other competetive exams which made it difficult to get admission into other colleges. BVPCOEP conducted a personal CET exam on the basis of which I was selected. They also considered 12th boards marks(minimum 65% required PCM or Physics, chemistry, and computer science(vocational course)). I had applied for other colleges that include Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT), Terna college of Engineering and A C Patil college of engineering. I got accepted at A C Patil college of engineering, Navi Mumbai. But due to the low reputation of this college I did not accept it.
