The reason I chose this college were that i due to some personal issues and problems scored less marks in MHT-CET, JEE and other competetive exams which made it difficult to get admission into other colleges. BVPCOEP conducted a personal CET exam on the basis of which I was selected. They also considered 12th boards marks(minimum 65% required PCM or Physics, chemistry, and computer science(vocational course)). Other colleges I applied to were MIT Pune and Symbiosis Institute of Technology. I couldn't get into MIT because I couldn't clear there entrance test. The tution fees at Symbiosis is higher but is not on par with the quality of their education. I had applied for other colleges that include Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT), Terna college of Engineering and A C Patil college of engineering. I got accepted at A C Patil college of engineering, Navi Mumbai. But due to the low reputation of this college I did not accept it. I wasn't able to get to other colleges due to their high CET cutoff. I found my college on google and went through the reviews which were good. Actually I applied for Dy Patil medical college and also got confirmed but I choose Bharati Vidyapeeth medical College because of of there teaching methods and theory knowledge is very good then other colleges.
