Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Usually specific thing about our curriculum I like was eye disease and treatment part. Usually this curriculum really prepares good as we apply disease and treatment part directly to day to life. I think curriculum should be more detailed like include surgery part also.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Usually we get intership in the hospital specially eye care hospitals according to our marks.we have Dr.Agrawal eye care clinic then we have Natasha eye care clinic in pune it self. We haven't done any projects yet

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees are 100000 rupees every year it increases by 5000. Exams fees every year we pay are 20000 per semester.Till now I have paid around 5 lakh rupees for my college fees. Every year around 1.5 lakh rupees we have pay

Campus Life

0.5

Usually our college is least involved in festivals and all. Every we just conduct 3 days festivals. In our library we have lot of books regarding our course and all more than sufficient. usually we are not involved in any extracurricular activity we just do studies and we infact don't have our own classrooms.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

I live in college hostel only. Usually according to fee I pay for hostel the hostel living conditions are not good. The meal they provide are good . Every can't afford the hostel because price is too High according to the the facilities they provide we have commons washroomd to use. They just provide a bed and cupboard in hostel.

Admission

Actually I applied for Dy Patil medical college and also got confirmed but I choose Bharati Vidyapeeth medical College because of of there teaching methods and theory knowledge is very good then other colleges. Actually we got direct admission by 12th marks and CET wich was conducted by college exam that is college entrance exams only few of them got selected.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is 1:5. Usually faculty to student relationship is quiet good with some teachers. Usually I personally like Mahima ma'am, shivanand sir and Hardeep Kaur ma'am because of there knowledge and teaching methods. Usually we have 2 sems every year and 4 internals. And 70% of class get pass and remaining 30% fails every year.

Placement Experience:

Placements depend on the companies willing to organise an interview with the students. 75% of the students landed a job for 50000 after internship. Only one company visited us this year. On an average the package would be starting from 35000. My plans after getting my degree are to get a job and upskill myself soon after.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course helps patients who have difficulties both in physical and mental aspects. Hence i choose this course. Teaching can be more practical and visualized. And i expect the teachers to teach different disabilities on patients. The exams are conducted after every 3 months so there is sufficient time to catch up on studies. But since the topics are hard there is worry of forgetting by studying all the chapters at once.

Placement Experience:

The students usually become eligible for campus placements after 4th year when their internship is over. Ziess, Baush and Lomb, and Lenskart are the companies that visits often in the college. They provide with workshops for students and also offer jobs. The highest packages are offered based on your performances. But the lowest package is really good. Also a lot of students get placement from this college.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, students can get jobs in the hospitals but if you are from the RIT department you can get a job in the 2nd year. The highest package in my course was 12 lakh per annum and the lowest is 3 lakh per anum. Almost 90% students get the placements which are why dy Patil is so good. I will pursue a masters degree after my bachelor's from the same college.
