Remarks

I got admission to this college through eamcet exam. I kept a list of colleges during counseling and I got selected in this college. After I got a seat I went to college and visited the admission department. There they explained everything about the college, the academic courses they offer and the fee structure of the college. Though I got into this by eamcet exam I pay 45000 per year. Because the government will provide fee reimbursement.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

A course that I selected was BTech, as it is a BTech, basically, it's hard and never-ending. So the difficulty level in this is common. Our faculty members all completed their pg, Ph.D., and any higher education. Their kind of explaining things is average not that much great. Our college will even conduct mid-exams. So with the help of these, we can grab some knowledge for our semester-end exams. It helps us in sem end exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

It's good regarding placements. we will get placements in our final year. The students who have no backlogs and who have the minimum percentage of 60-65 are eligible for campus placements. The companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Sutherlands, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, HCL, etc will come to our campus. The highest package will be 4l per annum and the least will be 2l per annum. the students from 7 semesters are eligible for placements. My plan after getting my degree is to place in a reputed company and to achieve success in my future.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college will also provide scholarships. Basically, it will be like 5k per year for our BTech. And there will be fee reimbursement provided by our college. As I got into this college by eamcet exam my academic fee is 45000 per year. The quality of education was also okay. The infrastructure is also great. Though we get scholarships it is a benefit for many students.

Campus Life

3.5

Our life at the campus is good. We will have some fests like freshers party, farewell and in the middle of the year, we will even have some fests. We have a huge library where we can find all the books. I'm not a member of any club. but we do have a great atmosphere in my college, huge ground and also many sports like cricket, basketball, etc. We even have our Instagram page named St Mary's group where u can find about our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays, events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA.
