Remarks
I applied only in DGVC because I was aiming to get an mbbs seat but I failed. I wrote NEET and I scored low marks.. so I joined Psychology in Dwaraka doss Goverdhan dosa Vaishnav College as I was interested in Psychology and reading human behaviour. I wanted to study something about humans and so I decided to join Psychology. Also, the reason for choosing Dwaraka doss Goverdhan doss Vaishnav College was that it was Co-educational because my parents and my brother didn't want me to study in a single gender college. The minimum marks required in grade 12 for joining BSc psychology was 60% and 12th grade qualification with good marks are the eligibility for my program. We had to confirm our admission and paid fee with DD during the counselling day.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Psychology as I was interested in reading minds and study about human behaviour. I wanted to study something related to deal with humans. The faculties are good enough and our Head of the Department is a new person, she joined in this semester only. Our staffs are such nice people. We admire them. Faculty student ratio in our department is 1:30.
Fees and Financial Aid
Cost is much reasonable and is about forty-two thousand per semester. We have six semesters. So the cost would much likely be two lakhs and fifty two thousand. I didn't get any scholarship on campus.
Campus Life
About extracurricular and fests, we have a lot of events conducted by our college. Each and every department conduct their fests every year such as psych fest, cyber fest and they will conduct many events like singing, dancing, talent show, shipwreck and so on. We celebrate all the festivals. There are different types of books and journals in our library. We have such a huge library. Our college has a basketball court, volleyball court and a large playground. Some of the social groups or clubs which students run are Fine Arts club, Rotaract club DGVC.
