Remarks

College administration was strict and as per the rules. It is a good college on a whole but need some higher visions. With good planned leadership, NMAMIT could be one of the finest colleges in the state.

Entrance Preview

CET(Common Entrance Examtion) i scored 78% and its a reputed institution. The placements in the institute is quite recognised.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course was good. As its a reputed institution, the placements in the institute is quite recognised. So there was an intense competition. Other than that the quality of the education is quite good. The course is quite easy for one who are interested.

Internships Opportunities

I dont think they provide internships in college. They do conduct short term courses for the opted students.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are good in the instituition. But most of the placements are for the IT Students. Very few mechanical companies come for placements. Core Companies like L&T , BOSCH do come but recruit just handful of people . Hence most mechanical students take up IT Jobs out of desparation.

College Events

2

There are many small level fests, conferences, talks etc. Apart from that, there are Tech Fests which constituted many technical and Co circular games and competions. Students from other colleges took part too. There used to be a cultural fest called the anandotsava too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a little higher than the expected keeping note of the quality of education and infrastructure and many other facilities. The college is located in a remote location , so the fee structure is not quite feasible at some circumstances.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea about the loan facility but there are scholarships as ive heard. They provide reducded fee structure for those girls who are a single child to their parent if the income of ure family is less than a denoted values, a sum of money will be granted to you.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio according to me would be 6:10 as female/male. There used to be parties at a common hangout near the college. The people though were narrow minded. There used to be workshops regularly for people with common interests. Students of all classes , races, gender religion were in the college.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostels are decent. The rooms, the mess, the bathrooms are all quite well constructed. The hostels are supposedly affordable. Where as there numerous PGs around the college. Most of the students stayed in PGs as it gave them privacy, independance and as it was more affordable.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes ive made numerous friends in the college most of them still are in regular touch i do pay visits to the institute once in a while the senior students have helped me in my future plans too.

Exam Structure

Exams have always been scary. As its an autonomous institute, the exams are mostly chilled out, but the invigilation is quite strict, There's a flying Squad that checks for malpractices conducted during the exams. But the questions would be under the syllabus.

Admission

After my pre university college completion, in which i scored 78%, i tried for common entrance exam (CET). But before the results were out, i got admitted through management qouta as there was a tremendous amount of competition for mechanical branch. so i submitted my marks cards and other documents to the college and got admitted.

Faculty

3

The faculty is quite qualified. The Faculty is experienced in thier feild of work. They are helpful regarding the subject. They give proper support to thier students and help them in solving the problems together. Exams are very fair and so are the results.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.
