Entrance Preview
I had appeared for UP-SEE in 2008 and my rank was around 40000. I had opted for the college because I had less options to choose and the college had invested a lot of money for advertisement to make fool of people with there 100% success in terms of results.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had elected Information technology, and literally the course curriculum in uttar pradesh technical university is very poor. All private institutes affiliated to UPTU focus on maintaining results only instead of providing better learning environment. Being into information technology students usually think that there will be technical courses(Coding practice on different technology).
Internships Opportunities
No, they have not provided any internship. They are even not capable of proving any internship and even if they are proving, please don't go there.
Placement Experience
No placements at all. But yes on advertisements they have spent well to show 100% placements. They called multiple companies for placements and we got selected also in placement drives but nobody got any calls after completing graduation to join any of them. So as usual "Fake Placements".
College Events
Once in a year there used to be a college fest. It was a 4-5 day event and I would say that in these 4-5 days days only we used to feel relax little bit. College fest used be nice. They used to call some celebrities every year. And there used to be a lot of events organised by students in which we all used to enjoy a lot.
Admission
After you went through State entrance exam, you will be given a choice to select institutions as per the seat availability through counselling. As per your choices you will be assigned to any one of the institutions where you can go and submit the fee and take admission. Once I completed the counselling and I have been assigned to this institute.
Faculty
At BIT 90% of the faculty members were just pass out from the colleges affiliated to same university, this is one of the most easy to get job if you have done your graduation from UPTU because you won't posses the skills to get into any other jobs except this un till and unless you haven't worked hard on your skill except completing your graduation.
