Remarks

Good remark is college has a good and peaceful environment for study. Bad remark is college staff behaviour, students disharmony and less unity.

Course Curriculum Overview

Poor exam structure, we were facing alot challenges like bus facility, fooding, and for exam center. College was approached for fee every time before exam. Student were facing challenges about money problem becouse of no required facility is available for ATM as well as Banking.

Placement Experience

0.5

I have never attended any Placement session becouse at that time College were not taking action for the placement. Student were very tensed for that.

College Events

3.5

Annual fest was held 3 times. when I was in 1, 2&3 year then after not happened anything. College fest name was Phoenix for 3 to 5 day's maxmum. Sometimes student celibrated ownself.Becouse of college told to student we have not sufficient money to organise things.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible for meddle class only. I was from BPL Card Holder so we were faced the challenges regarding fee but we can pay the fee in several slots like 4 or 5 slot. That's why it was taking easy to afford.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I was never opted for education loan but opted for scholarship but in first year scholarship was not got becouse of Some natural calamities. Government denied the scholarship.

Campus Life

I was less attentive for the party an all so my friend had money for party so the did it. I was making painting for the college fest and some curricular activities like ghost act, tragedic drama, Kalas fest with Phoenix etc. College labs not good as much as it should but students always tried for better knowledge and experience.

Hostel Facilities

I have opted for hostel becouse college was so far frome city so daily up down was very critical. That were all the more or less facilities provided by college. Mostly student eat at the college canteen.

Alumni/Alumna

They helpful for extra activity like play and participate with the college debate matters. As a seniors responsibility they were anable to pay attention and support for the junior becouse of the fear of college on seniors.

Admission

I chose becouse of my colleague was Graduated from here. Throughout the councelling process which was conducted by AKTU. College is far from the city. My family easily agree for admission. Admission time College was behaving like priest.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty was good but sometimes it gave fear to student for sessional mark, internal mark, assignment process etc. Mentally pressure were doing created from faculty. We were attending night classes, night round from 9pm to 11pm. Study time collapsed with sleeping time.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith - [MGKVP], Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Education)
Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA curriculum in my college at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) for the 2025–2026 academic year is structured under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, making it academically comprehensive but traditionally theoretical. It follows a six-semester system that offers a wide range of subjects, from core Humanities (History, Political Science, Hindi) to modern electives and Vocational courses (e.g., Nutrition, Yoga, or Digital Literacy), providing students with a multidisciplinary framework. In terms of relevance, the syllabus is exceptionally well-suited for students aiming for government services and competitive exams (UPSC/UPPSC), as the depth of social science subjects mirrors the state and national civil service patterns. However, its professional comprehensiveness is lower; while the curriculum includes internal assessments, presentations, and project work to build soft skills, the actual delivery remains focused on rote learning and theory rather than industry-ready practical training. Consequently, the course is highly relevant for an academic or administrative career path but requires significant self-supplementation (internships or external skill-building) for those seeking immediate roles in the private sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

Yes they do provide campus placement last year only almost 70 students were offered jobs in campus placement. But in our case most of the students have their own plans like the majority of them are generational lawyers so either they'll join their firms or they have very good contacts so they'll get places easily but in my case as a first generation lawyer we do get internship or assessment internship in which we get very good chances to get PPO they we don't have to relay on college for campus placement. In my case if i didn't get campus placement then wherever I've done my internship I'll try to convert my internship into a PPO
