Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science and Engineering is a reputed course in this college. We have approx 60 students in each class, and there are 2 CSE sections summing to a total of 120 CSE students. All faculties teach well and their teaching methods help us grasp concepts better.

Our placement cell also helps us in bagging several internships with reputed MNCs. Regular information and details are provided to keep the students updated. Internships for several web, mobile developer, etc roles.

Placement Experience

The placements begin from the 7th semester. The vast majority of the companies that visit the campus are service-based companies. The average package of the student's bag is between 3-7 lacs. Most of the students in our department are successful in bagging a placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course for BTECH (Computer Science and Engineering) is for 4 years and costs around 4 lacs approximately. Certain scholarships are available through WBJEE for financially supporting certain students.

Campus Life

We have several techs and cultural fests all around the year. The library is well furnished with numerous books on a large variety of engineering subjects. Our classrooms are well equipped with all necessary resources and our department has a handful number of computer labs. Many sports events are also conducted all around the year.

Overall our college starts preparing the students for the placement purposes from 3rd year. The company including Amazon, TCS, Wipro and some others came for placement. Approximately above 8.5 cgpa may get placements. My plans about government sector job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
