Remarks

At first, I thought of taking admission to Jalpaiguri Engineering College but I thought that now the most important will be time and the more time I give to my studies the more it will be fruitful. So I thought that taking admission in GNIT would help me save my time as live close by so I took my admission in GNIT. The admission criteria was minimum of 60% and I had a decent percentage both in class 10th and 12th grade.

As I had an interest in this subject so I choose this subject. The teaching method is good. The teachers take time to see that all the students have understood all the topics. As teaching is good we had less difficulty in passing the subjects.

Internships Opportunities

The large internships are offered in the final year and small internships take place in semesters. The projects are also present which makes the student more capable during the opportunities of the internship are provided to the students.

Placement Experience

The students are eligible from the 3rd year. The reputed companies like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, cognizant come to college and recruit the students. 90-100% gets placed. A minimum of 5-6 lakhs package is offered for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

4 years cost rupees 408000 but it's worth it campusing happens well enough and reputed companies come here and recruit the students. So it's overall a good college and a minimum of 6 lakhs of the package. Overall a good college worthy of taking admission.

Campus Life

The name of the cultural fest is Zzyva and the name of the tech fest is a tesseract. Mainly conducted in the month of Feb. It's fun and entertaining. The books are available in the library. The sports are also conducted all year-round. Starting from cricket football to races etc common room is also present for indoor games like table tennis.

Overall our college starts preparing the students for the placement purposes from 3rd year. The company including Amazon, TCS, Wipro and some others came for placement. Approximately above 8.5 cgpa may get placements. My plans about government sector job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
