From an Engineer

Applied only for the Electronics course because of my interest in this field. I did not avail any quota during admission. The college fees for first year admission starts from 1,32,000(This is only for the B.Tech students). The candidates who can apply to this college for b.tech courses should have scored a minimum of 70% aggregate both in High school and Intermediate. An exam is held every year for direct admission. Those who appear in the UPTU exams and have scored Ranks under 10k can get direct calls on applying. Most students take a year gap or 2 year gap but it's alright. The admission process is pretty simple, on applying through UPTU exam qualification they get sent a mail or courier for counselling. Direct admission is also entertained. If a student is deserving they are given a chance to prove themselves. College and University campus is totally different. Some students mistake University campus for college and cannot change later. Since during counselling(in July mostly)fees is to be paid.

About Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. This course is full of excitement. Since many Don't people think over it, Instrumentation is going to be the future. It is a field which will grow in coming it's just not me interested with this course but also 59 others with me. Student to teacher ratio is evenly matched. Every teacher is well qualified and the teaching methods are fabulous. Students get really attached to faculty members. Most of the faculty members are specialists in their field and this is what everyone loves about them also their way of interaction. they cover up every single topic by giving assignments, live projects, discussions etc and students really do love doing those sorts of things because the approach is kind of different here. So there are 8 semesters in a total of 4 year program. students have to appear every month for internal sessional exams ao to cover up topics fast. every week an assignment is given and every six months semester exams are held.

College provides internship programs for 1st to 3rd year batches so they get an idea of industrial based training. Many companies provide campus internship and students love working with them. Huawei tech, Infosys, cognizant provide training programs for students. Depending on the work they hire according to their qualifications. Many roles are offered like IT, software development, junior programmer etc. Some may even get a chance to earn around 12k to -20k during internships. Various target is given. The project works for completion which may to getting the desired out up in a program to communicating with field workers, designs, ideas which will lead the team and help the company grow. Working on AutoCAD, Matlab creating diagram projects and much much more thing to do.

After the 6th semester i.e, after the 3rd year gets over. Students can start applying for campus selection. Companies like Wipro, cognizant, Infosys, tata + 100+ companies visit every year for placement. The highest package offers depends on the qualities and qualifications of students which can range from 3Lpa- 22Lpa which is quite impressive because every single student gets a chance to sit in placements. It's not really a concern how many students get placed because the college provides enough slots for every student to score at least one spot but if a student is not interested that is a totally different thing but still, I would say 80-90%is the placement status. Mostly for a fresher, it is to get a job first and get experience in the field after that one can think of getting into the startup plans or settling up or preparing for higher studies. I personally am placed is a company gaining experience but my plans are to get more knowledge for which I have to study more in the coming years.

Normally a student has to pay 1,32,000 approx for the first year and then the fees decrease every following year. every year students are given a discount of 10% to avail(for all). Those who cannot pay the fees are given a chance for a fee waiver program depending on their financial status. Every year a scholarship form is to be filled for those students who can avail quota for the college tuition fees. A total sum of 50,000-1,00,000 is given to every student who is eligible for the scholarship. Other than scholarships Students can apply for different events held on the college campus itself to get discounts. It's not like people have to suffer to pay for their child, Everyone gets a chance. Every year state university holds a scholarship program and any Student can avail the scholarship depending on their needs. Financial advice is given by the team on campus to get a clear view of how this works. Now talking about campus placements, here also every student has a chance to appear and get a job(min 3Lpa).

On the College campus, every department holds an event in which any student from the college can take part. It is a diverse program. There are also hackathon, rotary clubs, music clubs, talk show, special day fest club etc. An annual fest is held every year which is the biggest of all. It goes on for continuous 3 days(starts from 5 pm after classes to 9 pm). Stalls are made, DJ stand, game zones, sports and many more other activities. Riviera" which is the departmental fest by Electronics and Instrumentation students. Every event links are mentioned on the college official site, along with events extra activities like treasure hunting, social rallies etc which helps boosts student moral support by allowing them to be social. Everyone gets a chance to meet new people, make friends. It is truly a heartwarming thing. The library is equipped with day to day life things from newspapers, comics to subject related books and many more, also every class is equipped with modern-day facilities.
