Remarks

You can apply through the application and then you will be shortlisted upon the 10th and 12th marks. There was no counseling process. I did not get any quota for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to do MCA as my master's that's why I chose BCA as my undergraduate course. 1:10 is the faculty-student ratio. All the faculties are Ph.D. holders and all have industrial experience. The exams are conducted 3 times in a semester, two internal exams and one final semester exam.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Developer roles were given for internships and the maximum stipend is 10k. There were many startup companies and some reputed companies which came for the internship. More projects are done by the students and i did a capstone project in the final semester of my degree.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 5th semester, the students are eligible for the placements, more companies like HCL, DELOITTE, TCS, INFOSYS and more startup companies visited the campus. The highest package is 6 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. 90% of the students get placed and 10% opt for higher studies I did my MCA in correspondence.

Fees and Financial Aid

No fee hike policy is there, all the exam fees are collected in the tuition fee itself and the cost of the study is very worth it for the fees paid and all the courses have good cost of study. I got a scholarship from the university through their scheme and many students got it as well.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called Rivera and the tech fest is called Gravitas. All the books are available in both the offline mode and also in the e-book portal mode through the website. All the classrooms are air-conditioned and have smart projectors for the students. The sports and extracurricular activities are there on the campus. There are more than 500 clubs in vit university which are organized by the students.

In vlb Janakiammal college of arts and science kovaipudhur coimbatore ,i dont know much about the placements but there are so much placements for everyone the placement success rate is almost 98 persent

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 5th or 6th semester depending on the course. Many reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment. If I receive a campus placement, I plan to start my career and gain industry experience. If I do not get placed through campus, I will continue improving my skills, earn professional certifications, and apply for jobs through off-campus opportunities until I secure a good position.

The faculty members were supportive and explained concepts clearly.They encouraged students to participate in academic and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good infrastructure with clean classrooms, Library, laboratries,and a peaceful environment for learning.
The placement cell conducted training programs, aptitude classes,and interviews that helped students improve their career opportunities

Dislikes

This collage should provide more placement opportunities by inviting more companies and offering additional internship program for students
Some class room and laboratory equipments need regular maintenance and upgrade to improve the learning experience
The collage could organise more technical workshops , industrial visits and skill development program for students

A Good college with supportive faculty and decent placements
