Aiman College of Arts & Science for Women was founded by the Aiman Education and Welfare Society in the year 2000. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution, affiliated to Bharathidasan University and approved by UGC.
Initially operating from Azad Nagar, the college moved to K. Sathanur in 2002–2003. A Masjid was built on campus in 2006. In 2002–2003, it started offering M.A English in addition to three UG programs. Today, Aiman College offers a broad range of UG and PG programs across various disciplines.

Aiman College offers a 3-year Muballiga Diploma Course in Islamic Studies, conducted under the United Welfare Organization (UNWO), Chennai. The course is designed to deepen students' religious knowledge and is held in the afternoons alongside their regular academics.
In addition to academic programs, the college emphasizes skill development by providing specialized training in areas such as Fashion Technology, Desktop Publishing (DTP), Spoken English, and Arabic language skills, empowering students with practical and industry-relevant expertise.
Moreover, Aiman College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSC Academy to offer a Certificate Course in Retail Management, exclusively for BBA and B.Com students, to enhance their professional readiness and employability in the business sector.
