Remarks

KIIT is one the best private colleges in India. From my personal view its really great.students can gain knowledge along with their normal life.

Its great, everything we learn we get to apply that in our practical labs..its helps to clear our concept.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is provided in 3rd year..but if you are looking for internship in 2nd year then you need to do it yourself..

Placement Experience

Last year 92% students were placed while some got placed with multiple job offers.Highest salary was 33 lakh and on an average everyone got 5 lakh package. Major companies were Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant.

College Events

KIIT FEST in the biggest event of the year in kiit. KIITMUN is also celebrated which is a great platform for debaters.These are big events but apart from these they take part in every festival.

Its expensive, but at the end of the 4th year I think it worth it.Its 1.10 lack per semester

Scholarships are available for less ranked students and loan is available.

College life is great.Gender ratio is almost same.societies are there where we can do extracurriculams.sports wings facilities are great.good players can represent kiit and later they can play in higher levels.politics is not there..

Hostels rooms are great, mess food is average but compared to other colleges mess food its better.i would rate 4.5 star to my hostel.

Seniors are very helpful whenever we need any information we can run to them for details.

Exam Structure

There is mid sem and end sem.In KIIT the exam structure is pretty much chilled out.No pressure..Only 6 hrs of class then we are free.We get time to do extra curricular activities.

All the faculty are ex IIT or ex NIT students.It explains their standard and they are pretty much interested in delivering knowledge to us.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My first impression of the college I chose

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
