Kmit has three main events. They are Dandiya night, Kmit evening, Patang utsav. For all dis fests the whole Kmit takes part. There are around 1500+ students in Kmit.

Kmit has its own sports day and the events are Badminton, Football, Volleyball, Throwball(Girls), Chess, Carroms, Table tennis. There is no gender inequality in Kmit nor ethnicity or race or religion inequality in Kmit. Kmit is best place for students to study as well to enjoy their valuable life of 4yrs of engineering which will not come again.

Yes, They are helpful. There is no place for a word called ragging in Kmit. There was a anti-ragging squad in Kmit. I was also one of the member of anti-ragging squad.

Exam structure was good because it was decided by JNTU. Labs are good and equipment in labs were also of latest models.

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.
