Remarks

The course with full curriculum in which my interest was vested was available with other co-curricular activites like swimming, Athletics, Games, NCC, NSS, Camps, Clubs, Political Interests etc. Also good and Educated staff with practical knowledge is there. The college is also big and green.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

As i was interested in the management area, and my preference of adopting my particular field in my course was also available, i went for this college. The curriculum is subjective based with alot of presentations and focusing on improving soft skills.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements are average. In my field, people mostly opt for master degree. If you opt for this, one has to make plans of either getting a job or better one is go for master degree. I cannot say anything about other courses.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee Hike is minimal. And scholarships are available according the requirements. The cost to study is excellent as it is a professional course so the fee is genuine and when compared to other colleges, it is absolutely fine. One can always check on the notice board. I didn't got any because i wasn't in any Category.

Campus Life

5

The life at college is best. The annual fest is conducted in october mostly. The tech fest is generally in the February month. Both are exciting to attend. The library is good and plenty of books are available on various topics. Its just that the timings are not that good as it opens only for 10 hrs in a day. The sports activites are very famous of this college. This includes various tournaments including inter-college. Clubs are also there like sports club, writing club, social club, club for innovations, etc

Admission

A small interview round was conducted. There was no written test. Merit based admissions on the basis of 12th score were taken. The interview round was not seemingly compulsory but they ask you a few things about your preferences, tastes and why do u opt for this college. It was a casual type of thing.

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.
