My engineering college

MIT belongs to Pune university which is quite renowned. College faculties are good infrastructure is excellent. Placements are also good. Campus is big with many faculties like meditation room, big playground, library and digital library, grand auditorium, smart classrooms.

I chose Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer as i have interest in Electronics. Faculty were good and well qualified. All the faculties are post graduate in their repective subject and many are even Phd. Few senior faculties are excellent with their knowledge and disciplined.

Summer Intern during my 2nd year. College doesn't help for internship nor it is compulsory. One can go for it considering their own interest. As per pune university rules internship is not compulsory to apply for placements. If you have done a internship it will add certain value to your resume during final placement.

Students gets eligible for placement at the start of 4th year of engineering. Many companies visit specially for CS and IT. Entc and mech have moderated placement and very few for civil guys. Companies like Philips, Bosh, loreal, Varroc, ZS, Delloit, Accenture, IBM, L&T, Cognizant, Reliance and many more visit th campus

Fees for general category was normal and affordable. One can also apply for some government scholarships like ECB even if they are from general category who have less annual family income. Also there are some private scholarships form TATA .

Campus is very beautiful. Big library, playground, badminton court, Grand auditorium, well equipped labs, modern computer labs . There are various fest like Aarohan, Tesla, Robocon, Accelerators, Sports summit. Big events like Bhartiya Chhatra sansad

Admission was based on the merit list of State CET exam. One has to apply on DTE website to get the admission. Only based on merit the seats are allocated. There is 10% reservation for management level seats which can be granted by playing some extra amounts.
