Remarks

The admission process of my college consists of registration through online mode where I submitted my CAT score and undergraduate marks. Further, I was shortlisted for selection process where I appeared in Innovation Potential Test, Group Exercise and Personal Interview rounds. Then, on the basis of my academic track record, performance in selection process and work experience, I was given offer letter for admission. Prior to taking admission, I went through the official website of my college where I scrutinized the placement record, course curriculum and read about the faculty members and decided to get into it.

Campus Life

4

My campus life at IFIM Business School has been thrilling since the day I took admission in. We have so many committees like cultural committee, sports committee, student competition committee, innovation & incubation committee and other committees as well. Each committee is responsible for organising various events as that so, the cultural committee organises 'Rititiwaz', Sports committee organises tournaments of different sports. Other than all these, important days and festival celebration takes places in our college. Also, it is made compulsory in our college to be a part of any one committee and since I have interest in cultural things I joined cultural committee where I got to learn other things than what I knew earlier. Also, my hesitation level has lessen down after I joined the same and as a result of all this, my campus life has been vibrant and engaging from day 1.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum seems to be a little outdated as we were following the VTU syllabus. But since 2024, our college has become an Autonomous College and since then, most of the outdated syllabuses were replaced with newer, required contents. And we have exams regularly, every month. This helps us alot in preparing for our final exams.
