Remarks

The biggest reason to pursue MBA from USMS is that it is affiliated to GGSIU and the course fee is so affordable. Apart from that, the placement rate achieved every year remains constant i.e. more than 75% are placed on- campus and the rest get selected off campus. Also, the admission procedure is too easy to get into it. Since I was eligible, I filled the application form which was made available from Feb- May and further I appeared in the entrance test i.e. IPU-CET. In the end, I got selected on the score obtained in entrance test, took admission and now I am pursuing MBA .

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is designed by the best academicians and professional as per the requirements of the market. It consists of core as well as elective courses of management like organizational behaviour, marketing strategies, finance management and other courses. Apart from that weekend program is organized where higher responsibilities are assumed and prepared us accordingly to serve society and the industry. Further, the faculty members who hold higher degree from the top institutions and are experienced plays an important role and through advanced analytical methods they impart us the management knowledge along with the predictive modeling, statistical and quantitative analysis, and most importantly, the optimization to create important advantages for the business world.

Placement Experience

4.5

With handsome package of Rs. 8 lakhs per annum and the average CTC of 3 lakhs annually, leading companies like IBM, TCS, Amazon, Wipro, HDFC, IndusInd Bank visited last year. Also, every year more than 100 companies pay a visit for recruitment. Prior to placement drive, our college organises pre-placement talks session where our personality, soft skills, decision making capacity are enhanced. Moreover, after completion of the postgraduate program, I have decided to get placed in good organisation and continue with my job.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for MBA program is 70 thousands for first year and for both the year, I paid 1.4 lakhs. Besides, the affordable fee structure, our college offer scholarships for those who are minorities. Also, financial aid is given under merit-cum-means scheme. However, I couldn't avail the scholarship opportunity. Also, there is no such provision for educational loans available for those in need.

Campus Life

4

Not only our college focus on endowing management knowledge but also, they make such environment where we can explore ourselves, get exposure through other activities and enjoy classroom lectures as well. Otherwise, sitting in the classroom don't create interest in us. So, they keep on organising events constantly to enjoy both teaching-learning and other happenings. So, in our college, celebration of important days like Yoga Day, Independence Day, mother language day, Teacher's Day, different festivals is done. Also, we have Aveksha - the Dramatics Club, Dance Club, Srijan - publication club, and other events like Fresher's Party, Farewell Party, Anugoonj - annual cultural festival takes place every year. Due to this kind of environment, my campus life has been too good from the beginning of the session.

Placements cell works for the placements but gets bare minimum or very low profile courses. Students become eligible to apply in third year. I dont have the data because I didn't apply for the placements. Avg package is around 400000 that also in low profile jobs. % of students placed is also very low. My plans after the degree is to either pursue MBA from tier 1 college or continue/start a business/family business as it is best time in india to pick pace

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements
