Course Curriculum Overview

4

there is no subject my aspect for choosing this course because it is a requirement of my career job. but all the subjects that we study in all the semesters give us a different kind of learnings helps us to know the real world things. exams are always taken on time . there is no such delays seeing in the time frequency of exams .

Internships Opportunities

1

i don't have a good knowledge about this because i didn't had any work in this field because i don't want placement and I think tat if I am not sure about anything I should not say anything right or wrong about it. but I tried once towards this so knew something but don't have real experience.

Placement Experience

3

semester does not matters a lot , if you have skills you can get interships and the end of your graduation you will be placed in any company you want with a good package . the average package of mt college is 5 to 6 lacs per annum. around 8 cgpa overall with skills . I want to be an RBI Grade B Officer.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid Rs.34,250 for first year for my course b.com programme. I paid Rs.31,650 for second year and and will pay around Rs.34,000 for the upcoming third year. there is no such extra fees except tuition and hostel fees (hostel fees if hostel is alloted). There is same tuition fees for every category students depending on their courses only. there is fee concession for form students who don't belong to good financial background and also a few scholarships like u go scholarship, NSP scholarship etc.

Campus Life

4

the fests are held properly with average investment. mostly fests are held in february, march, april. books are easily available in the library and can be issued through college id card for 15 dys without fine and completion of 15 days period , fine starts . some new classrooms are made with smartboards and good benches and with AC and fans .

Admission

every college have its own merits and demerits still it's the best college over some other colleges. admission is same as other colleges of DU have , like cuet exams , results , form fillimg for DU , preference list round, and tell college alottment in different rounds.

Faculty

3

The faculty to students ratio is not so good it's like just doing their duties on their parts and moving forward. I like isha bhatt mam, Ravinder sir , shivani mam Udita maam. because they teach with patient and also take care of students issues. i don't like himanshu sir because that man only teaches law in all the subjects, even a lot of students don't like himanshu sir becuse that man make his own formulas and laws which contradict books content. there is a special teacher also who teaches very well , explains thing excellently but she was very rude with every student during the whole semester . even once I was very ill , so i asked mam to submit my file next day or day after tommorow and a that time I don't have any friend near me who can submit my file . I told mam my whole problem and all the things and still she forced me to submit my file at that point of time. she don't have a little bit feelings and don't understands someoone's problem. there are 3 core subjects for every semester and 4 optional subjects which AEC, GE, VAC, SAC . these subjects we need to choose from the lists while filling the preference form.

Night Life

4

there is a GYM in the college , cafeterias are good , food is also good but prices are a litle bit high. hostel is owesome i stayed in hostel in my first year . so the food is very good , there are 4 times meals , parks and garden areas , security is very good , rooms are also good but the in time was not ohk , there is 7:15pm in time which is very problemetic a lots of time.from my point of view the worst part of hostel is taking attendence in register at 7:15 pm everyday near warden maam room. worst because you must to go for attedence everyday. rangshala is best place to sit in winters and lawns and gardens are as well. sports complex is also ok.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com]

There were a lot of personal reasons like it was good according to my cuet scores , provides hostel which is also very nice but only to first year students, it is a girls college ,and for one of that reasons my parents sent me delhi.

My course is pretty expanded than before and the syllabus is very long and tough and sometimes it's difficult to complete in one semester and practical part of my course is also less and i think they should more practical and less theory exams in my course and sometimes the the syllabus of my course is very long in some semester so we face difficulty to complete the syllabus and didn't able to focus on practical par and there is very less practical part in my course and more theory so i think they have to focus more on practicals part and less theory and computer Lab in my college is also very less and some computer is not working and the students in class is many and the teacher is one so sometimes it's difficult to understand in computer with many students and i think they should put projector in class for better understanding and the theory exam in my course is also very lengthy and they give less time so it's difficult to complete on time and the marking scheme is also not appropriate

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was a little interested in money management since childhood, that's why I chose B.Com because it teaches about money management. If we talk about the syllabus and how much it connects with the real world, then it is very little. We are taught the same old syllabus which has been changed a long time ago. Mainly in the accounts subject, first of all one should see what is going on in the real world and what is there in the syllabus. The same syllabus is repeated again and again while the world is changing very fast. The exams are improving but the syllabus needs improvement. The exam is going well

Students often get placement before their 3rd year or last semester is completed. Highest placement this year (2025) was around 32 lakhs p.a. but only a few get that kind of a placement. Average placement stays 4 lakhs p.a. in campus placements. Most students go through a good network on their own. My plan is to get a campus placement or a government job
