Remarks

I had also applied for the BBA course through the Competitive exams held by IPU, and then colleges are allotted to you on the basis of the rank you score in the above exam. Once the colleges are allotted, you get to choose which college you want on the basis of your preferences. Ultimately, I chose B.com(H) over BBA because of its wider future scope and personal interest, and MAIMS is among the top colleges for this course. Surajmal is also a great choice for both B.com(H) and BBA but it was a little inconvenient as conveyance was a bit much.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty is really great and there is a healthy faculty-to-student ratio in the college. There are internal exams held from time to time and the difficulty mostly varies in accordance with the topics it is covering, but overall they are not very tough and high marks can be scored if concepts are clear. Due to the current pandemic situation, our exams were held in an online mode with objective-type questions, so the paper was not very difficult and passing was no problem.

Internships Opportunities

3

Again, as a first-year student, I can't comment that much on the internship opportunities. But the ones which I did were mostly based on Companies trying to get us to increase their reach by asking people to follow their social media handles or persuading people into buying various courses. The opportunities aren't very creativity-centered right now but I'm hoping this will surely change once we gain more experience. The stipend right now is minimum to none as of now.

Placement Experience

3

As I am still a 1st-semester student, I don't know that much about the placements and job offers, but from what I've heard from my seniors and friends is that there are great placement opportunities in the college. I plan on doing MBA after I've received this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

My current year,i.e 1st year, fees is Rs.1,01,800. As of now, I haven't received any job offers or placement offers from the college due to obvious reasons. No scholarship or Financial assistance as such was provided

Campus Life

4.5

The life at the campus is Amazing, though we were only able to go for a few weeks. It was very fun and the ground is very big with a separate basketball court and a tennis/badminton court. there are also various cafes located all around the campus. There are a variety of clubs available for the students to join and there is also an option to form our own clubs if our interest is not met by any of the existing clubs.

Bcom that they offered was good enough to prepare one for the real world applications as various examples and field activities were also conducted by the college at that time . Teacher student ratio should be taken care of along with lethargic teaching methods like lecture method . Exams were held every 6 months and the difficulty level was easy.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell within the colleges but numerous are not dynamic and those who are dynamic do not offer great arrangements. As it were Srcc , LSR or St. Stephens offer pleasant placements. Most colleges offer arrangements between 3 - 4 lacs but over said colleges can give you situations with normal 8 lacs. But, I would prescribe you to not go for placements but higher things because it will increment your information and assist you to advance in your work and do it effectively whereas doing work fair after graduation will not allow you to regard merely continuously needed in the corporate world.
