If you want to get very good education for reasonable fees then comes to Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya

I have applied to HEC pg college, reason for not attending because of high fees. Then I applied to Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya because few were reasonable and faculties were great. Admission criteria of Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya for the BBA program were a minimum of 50% marks in the 12th class, there was no age limit or any other criteria. And it is not a coed college. We to fill an application form on counseling day for personal details and have to pay an amount of 1000 for Counselling.

I had chosen BBA because I am interested in marketing and Human Resource. I want to learn in detail so that I have better perspectives of these fields. There was 1 teacher for every 40 to 45 students. The teachers were regular in class. Every subject teacher had done a PhD and had a doctorate degree. And their teaching method was more of practical and less of theory. Sometimes they take classes on a smart board which is a digital board to make the class more interactive. There were three exams in one semester, 2 Sessional exams with 1 month of gap in both, and 1 External or main exam. The exams were moderate neither too easy nor too difficult.

Our colleges had tied up with Internshala for providing students internship opportunities from every field whether it is finance, marketing, human resources etc. Projects given by the companies were easy such as maintaining accounts and maintaining other records of the company.

From 2nd Semester onwards students were eligible for campus placement. every year companies come for campus placement and conduct interviews. Companies like ceasefire come to our college campus every year and the highest package had gone for 600000 per annum. Atleast 30 to 50% of students were getting campus placement. After completing my course I will do a job for about 10 years and then after getting experience from the industry I will open up a business.

The fees of my BBA course from 2017 to 2020 were 28000 per year later they hiked fees to 45000 to 47000 per year. The price to study ratio is absolutely great. because in comparison with colleges in our area Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya had a very affordable fee structure. I didn't get any scholarship but there were scholarship opportunity and hostel fee deduction for the student's who comes from Uttar Pradesh. I got an opportunity to display my talent in photography and our college had paid me 2000 for that. In this opportunity, I have to cover various events like sports, debates, seminars etc.

Every year in the month of August there is a seminar regarding Vedic management. In which tell us how in olden times things were managed and what we can learn from that. There is a central library which is the biggest library that any college has in Haridwar, so there is plenty of books that are available for reading and explorations. There were video projectors in every classroom which is used by the faculties and students to make the classes interactive. Extracurricular activities include plantations, sports training, project work etc. There were one canteen and a photocopy place which was run by students of our college. And every year we go to villages to educate by the interaction of modern-day Technology.
