Remarks

Management was so so but the teachers were extremely dedicated and devoted to the pursuit of education and students welfare. Gratitude is one word which fills my heart when I remember my alma mater.

Entrance Preview

None I opted for this college as it was reputed institution and had the best of teaching faculty for Arts. Admission was on the basis of merit i.e. xii std marks I had 67/ cent marks in science faculty and had no financial means to pursue a medical career hence I swapped over to Arts.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The curriculum as s purely academics oriented but my subjects eg English literature, psychology were research oriented.

Internships Opportunities

It did provided internship for certain specific subjects which I had not chosen so I have no clear idea of the amount.

Placement Experience

2

Job placement did not depend on the college but yes the grades in final university exams were good because of the college faculty teaching capabilities.

College Events

2.5

Events were debate discussions musical soirees sprinkled with old classic movies like Beckett. Also active social activities of students gatherings, socials dances were a regular feature.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible there were relaxations for the financially not so endowed also but that did not affect the academics there. Also there were many visually challenged students for whom sighted students would read out lessons or write exams as a regular feature of this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail of loan but scholarships were prevalent. I was awarded for two years for Hindi and economics loan facilities did not exist at that time.

Campus Life

1.5

Gender ratios were 60 :40 as far as girls:boys stands no discrimination on any basis regional; sexual; economic or otherwise existed as there was zero tolerance to such things. In fact many girls would enter college in bureaus and Rome the entire day without them in the college and none commented on them. There was absolute freedom sports and social activities were abundant with debates discussions and also socials picnics excursions for study and fun.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Not aware as it was a government college day boarders were not there.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were helpful but i do not remember asking anyone particularly for help as the professors are extremely obliging to help with a device and also lending books for research.

Exam Structure

Exams and laboratory facilities were good not hectic but adhered to a regimen prescribed by Mumbai university. Overall not chilled out but not overpowering.

Faculty

2.5

For subjects like English literature &economics faculty was par excellence they were highly qualified with degrees from oxford & Cambridge and extremely dedicated to teaching and devoted to students. There was never a time when we would have a difficulty and these professors would not sit by us and solve it with us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.
