Remarks

While taking admission the process is pretty simple, you have to appear for the NPAT examination on based of your score you will be called for counselling and will be offered a seat of your preferences and availability, you have to submit required documents and there is nothing more to it. Talking about this over any other colleges was I wanted to come out of my home state and learn to be independent and also Mumbai as the city has a lot to offer to your personal growth and experiences. I don't regret my choice to come here as the experience has been great with professional faculties, ready to listen management and helpful support staff. NMIMS has strict discipline policies so socially also there were no issues I personally faced.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I had chosen B.tech in Computer Science with business systems by TCS. I chose this course as I felt it was more industry-friendly and more hands-on then any other courses offered to me with TCS curating the curriculum I saw this as the best fit and I don't see anything wrong going with this as they haven't cut out anything from conventional computer science program and has added value to it. My class strength is 42, and I find this very convenient and good as in other colleges the class strength is over 120 or sometimes even over 200 in named universities like Symbiosis, SRM, VIT, Manipal where my friends study. In this smaller capped class, the faculty knows every individual and can target their weaknesses and help them out. The faculties are very approachable and professional and have a lot of industry experience before entering the teaching field. Every faculty is ready to analyze where the students are facing difficulty and change their methods accordingly.

Placement Experience

4.5

I am part of the first batch of B.tech and MBA tech first batch is in the final year, so in engineering, no such placements have happened so far, but a lot of students are offered internships from the campus placement cell and also the other programs that have reach placement such as MBA, BBA has shown good placements results. Tresvista, ICICI bank, ZEE Media, Nippon, Adani, TCS, DTDC etc have come and offered placements with average CTC 10.2 LPA and the highest 19 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year the cost of B.tech is 2.5L for the Navi Mumbai campus but can vary year to year, there is no certain hike in fee structure, the fee structure for all 4 years are given out at the start. About scholarships, I have very little idea as I had not applied for it but there is AICTE based scholarship based on your performance of 12th standard and other various outsourced scholarship whose information is available from the management staff and also assist us in applying for it.

Campus Life

5

The campus is newly built and enormous in size, as the campus is aimed to make a global campus, they have built it in such a way, and still, a lot of parts are under construction. There are 3 annual fests (technical, cultural, sports) happening The college campus has students of various courses such as PGDM, MBA, MBA tech, BBA, BCOM, BSC etc. so the campus is very lively with people around pursuing different fields. The classrooms as powered with the smart board where every teacher teaches with ACs and several charging spots for laptop and other devices, also the classrooms are well lit. There are a lot of clubs and committees around the campus such as technical and coding clubs, music committee, cultural committee, E-cell etc. There is a huge library with a lot of resources. The campus is very huge and newly built so the labs are also well and newly equipped. There are two rooms named boys-common room and girls common room both rooms have lot of amenities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance & Decision Factors I would rate the curriculum an 8.5/10 for its contemporary relevance. FFCS System: A major factor for many students is the Fully Flexible Credit System. It allows you to tailor your curriculum—for instance, a Mechanical Engineering student can take minor credits in "Prompt Engineering" or "Financial Analytics" to stay competitive in the tech-driven job market. Industry Focus: The curriculum is updated frequently. In 2026, there is a clear emphasis on Holistic Learning, where elective courses are structured to help you specialize in niche domains like Bioinformatics, Information Security, or Machine Learning. Application-Oriented: The "J-Component" (Project Component) integrated into most core subjects ensures that you don't just learn theory; you must build a prototype, code an application, or conduct a researc

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus, academic timelines, rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl, indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly. Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems. And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics, chemistry, mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year
