Admission is taken generally in two-phase. Filling of application form along with SOP and then followed by interview of the shortlisted candidates based on their CAT score, 10th and 12th marks, Grad score, work experience if any and SOP. Not to mention, IIMV is one of the fastest growing IIMs among new IIMs.

In the very first 2 trimesters out of total 6 trimesters, there are core subjects of every domain of business ranging from marketing, finance to operations, and HR and Data Science as well to give a base for domain-specific subjects. The internship is provided by the college only. Companies start coming for interns recruitment from October which is from the end of term 1. Major companies that recruited students were MTR, Yes bank, Outlook, Lubrizol with giving the highest stipend of 2lakh with an avg stipend of 62 thousand.

Placement is 100% despite pandemic. AMUL, GMR, Yes Bank, KPMG, MTR are some of the recruiters and avg salary is around 13 lakh of the batch with the highest stayed at 27 lakh. Companies start coming for recruitment from the mid of 2nd year. 10% batch gets PPO every year.

Fees for the whole duration of the course is 15,40,000 which is 2 years including mess and hostel fees. Financial assistance is also provided to needy people considering their financial conditions. Other state governments and central government scholarships are also availed.

Classrooms are equipped with modern facilities so as the library. Many world-class journals and different tools like Statista, newspapers like ET Prime, WSJ, Ken, like subscription is provided. Basically to provide students with all world-class knowledge. Cultural and business fest is also organized every year.

There are total 4 hostels available considering the batch size, each located near to the other. They are temporary and expected to move to a permanent campus with permanent hostels by end of 2021. Hostel food contract is given to 4-star restaurant and food is of class quality. Different dishes are prepared every day and a variety of menu is given for more options.
