Remarks

It is one of the top private colleges of AKTU in terms of opportunities. Also, the infrastructure is amazing. The various centers of excellence avail the students of the college various skills to be learned be it related to mechatronics, automata etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because of my keen interest in electronics, I chose this course. We have excellent faculties especially for subjects of the first year as I can only speak for first for now. The term exams were at 1.5 months in the first sem because the semesters have been shortened because of the corona pandemic.

Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

Being a fresher we do not know much about the placements. But as far as the records go the placement records are nice. Also due to the opportunity provided by college to learn new skills at the centers of excellence the placement chances can be increased.

Fees and Financial Aid

1.4 lacs per year is the fees. The hostel accomodation costs around 1.1 lacs per year. Almost all necessary facilities are available at college. Students also can avail various scholarships as reffered by the nodal officer.

Campus Life

The campus has a lot of societies and a lot of fests every year organised. Recently there are recruitment exams going on in the team horizon society. The library is enormous and has almost all necessary books available for students.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms for first year hostelers are well furnished with excellent infrastructure. The mess food is nice as well. Security guards are stricts and wardens are strict as well. They maintain strict discipline within hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Interview Experience

We cleared the UPSEE exams for entrance into the college. While there are certain seats reserved through management quota. The rank for top branches need to be around 5000 in UPSEE for general category students.

Placement Experience:

The student eligible for placement from 7th semester . The mass recruiter company like capgimeni , tc, wipro,cognizant are coming the average package is around 4 lpa. You work hard to get placement and you have to gain skill by your own.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More

Cutoffs are nothing but the marks obtained by the last student being declared qualified. To make it more clear, let's take an example. Suppose 1000 students sit in an exam. Several students who need to be called for counseling are supposed to 500. Now, A rank list is prepared based on the total marks obtained. The marks of the 500th student are taken as the cutoff.
