Remarks

The best college in Mysore and the most decent crowd and environment. Admissions take place through KCET, ComedK, and Management seats. This is an established college with 75 years of experience till date.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was always my aim to take up Electronics during my Engineering. The teaching method is great, and representation is as usual; with a blackboard and a smartboard. Highly qualified professors and teaching staff. Even though our college is autonomous they mostly follow VTU for examination timetables

After their seventh-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Almost all reputed core companies turn up during the placement every year. The highest package is 46,50,000 per annum. 1849 placements since last five years. I'm planning to take up Masters abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure is affordable compared to other colleges. Also, below-average free Structure even under KCET. All types of government scholarships are available. No campus jobs available.

Campus Life

There are numerous fests in our college, or annual fest being named as TechNIEks. Huge library with a wide range of books collection. College wifi and drinking water few amenities provided in classrooms. Or college takes up sports seriously with annual sorry competitions every even semester. There are way too many student clubs.

Hostel Facilities

Men's hostel with three students per room. Amazing infrastructure with our own ground. Food quality is slightly above average when compared to other hostels. Registration is based on first come first serve for a maximum of 486 intakes

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
