Remarks

Coming to the good part, it has good infrastructure, good faculties, decent placement records. Talking about the bad experience is that 90% attendance compulsion, imposing a huge fine on every small thing. Coming to the admission process, it gives admission by an entrance exam conducted by AKTU, which is now no longer held, so it also gives admission based on JEE mains score and it also provides admission on through management quota. My reason for preferring this college is that if you belong to UP then it is a decent college to join as it has decent placement records and good infrastructure because in private colleges in up it has the highest placement records which are good. Talking about the fees it is similar to all the private colleges in UP.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course as CSE is a branch in which you can grow yourself as the job opportunities are more and the recruiters also like to recruit all those who know the language such as C++, Python, C, Java etc. Talking about the faculties they are quite good, they are always there to help the students from their side by clearing their doubts and giving knowledge. Qualification of the faculty are: they should have at least a master in their course or PhD. The college conducts Class tests and assignments which are quite a good level and it also conducts pre-university exams which is a good practice. Exams are not that so much easy that you come without studying and you will pass the exam.

Placement Experience

4

In the 3-year 6th semester, you can sit for the job interviews. Name of the companies visited are Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, etc. Almost 80% is the placement record which is quite a good thing Highest package is 21 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. My plans after getting my degree are to secure my on-campus job and focus on other things.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the fees structure it hikes its fees every year and I had submitted 160000 in my first year and it increases every year. A scholarship program is held by the college for those who had a good rank in their entrance exams.

Campus Life

3

PSIT conducts their college fest which is ignita, held in the month of February, but due to Covid, we had not seen a single cultural fest. PSIT college of engineering has a huge library where you can sit and read books or you can issue books and almost every writer books are available. No extracurricular activities are conducted inside the campus no clubs are there, you have to only study and study and there is no other option.

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
