What Students Say
Likes
- The curriculum at PW IOI is very updated and relevant to industry so that we can gain knowledge + hands-on-experience to get better placements in future
- Faculties are great as they have very good methodology of explanation and interaction with students for doubt solving and more
- Facilities are good in perspective of students and classrooms are very well built with proper viewing tools for students sitting at back
Dislikes
- Campus life is just ruined...we have very small campus with just 1 floor for classrooms and ground for chilling. Nothing to explore
- Girls to boys ratio is very less. There are 1 girl over 9-10 boys
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well-designed if i talk in perspective to industrial relevance as the course is designed in such a way that we learn all the skills from basics to expert level which are required by comapanies in this era to give job/placements to the freshers/candidates. Overall it is good
Internships Opportunities
I don't know much about these at my college because noida campus is hosting its 1st year here and we are the 1st year students only so we have no seniors to ask about these things but the Student success team has promised us that from 3rd year we will be getting internship oppurtunities at campus in collaboration with many big companies and MNC's. Let's see what happens
Fees and Financial Aid
For B.tech at PW-IOI (Noida), the total fees is around 8 lakhs excluding hostel and other expenses. The fees is genuine if i compare it with other traditional colleges where the curriculum is also outdated and even they don't provide us any high-end or midrange laptops for our studying/coding purposes as the PW-IOI also provides us Macbook air M2 for our studies and day to day tasks.
Campus Life
Campus life is not good. We don't have any big lush green campus as compared to other colleges. We just have a building with only 1 floor reserved for our classes and there is no auditorium for events/fests and no huge ground for playing sports, roaming around in breaktime...nothing. Campus life is just waste here.
Admission
I was looking to join only new-age colleges like NST, NIAT, SST, PWIOI, Etc. due to their updated curriculum and industry-relevant course. But when i compared the fees structure and facilties of each and every college one by one then I found that PWIOI is best in terms of course, affordability and facilities (value for money)
Faculty
Faculties are very good. There are 2 types of faculties for each subject. One is assistant faculty and one is master faculty. To be surprising, sometimes i find out that assistant faculty have better teaching/explanation than the master faculties. Overall they are very amazing
Interview Experience
Yeah, for the admission I gave an online test named CEE in which I scored excellent and then a personal interview was conducted by college and based on these performances, scholarship of 20% was awarded to me and even a personal counsellor was assigned to me for guiding through all the procedures ahead.
Night Life
We have no campus but all the students have taken PG's nearby according to personal choice so at nightime we generally hangout at some tea stalls or cafe's or we just meet and walk certain distance and talk with each other just like school life
