My College Review

The high placement rate in computer science and engineering branch and impactful curriculum influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum of the course is very effective. It prepares the students for the real-word applications and also for further academic pursuits. Some of the subjects in the curriculum are outdated. Those subjects should be replaced with the new and latest technological subjects such as Machine learning , Artificial Inelligence and IOT. The teachers should also include new teaching methods for better learning experience. The frequency of the exam is twice a year i.e semester-wise. The timings of the exams are according to shifts i.e morning, , afernoon and evening shifts. The level of difficulty of the exams is moderate.

The placements at the college are excelent. All the students of the final year i.e from 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements. Major IT campanies such as Infosys, Wipro and TCS visit the college every year. These companies offers various job opportunities for the engineering and management students. The highest package is 50 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. The profile is generally software engineer. The percentage of the students getting placements is above 95 percentage. My plan after getting the degree is to do software engineering job.

The tuition fees generally increases evey year. The rate of such hikes is upto ten percent. Th complete cost of my education including tuition, service fees and other compulsory charges is approximately 6 lacs. There are various scholarships and financial aids for the students both from the central and the state government. The UP scholarship is easily available. The placement cell offers various full-time and part-time job opportunities for the engineering and management students. The college also offers internship opportunities.The stipends are also awarded to the students. I also completed an internship under the campus employment programs.

The college life at PSIT is amazing. There are various social and sports clubs. The annual festival is "Ignitia", this events is very popular among the students. It is typically held in the month of April. There is a wide collection of technical textbooks, novels and journals that are available at the central library of the college. The classrooms and the GD rooms are equipped with LCD projectors, digital boards and uninterrupted power supply. There are several sports and extracurricular activities that are organized by the college. There are various student-run social groups and clubs which highly impact the social life of the students.

The course is for all the 12th passout students. It is an undergraduate course. The application forms for the admission process are easily level at the college. One can also register the admission enquiry online. The application fees and application dates are easily available online at the college's official website. I did not avail any reservation benefits. My category was general/unreserved. The frequency of the exams are twice a year i.e semester-wise. The timings of the exams are on shift basis i.e morning, afernoon and evening shifts. The faculty-to-student ratio is very good. The faculties and trainers at the college are very supportive. The quality of education is very high. The learning experience at the classroom is also very impactful. The faculties offer skilled and focused learning. The faculty's credentials are excellent. All the trainers, mentors and faculties are expert in their respective subjects and domains.
